During this difficult time, I am delighted to report that the Scouts have continued with their Scouting activities from home. Various ‘broadcasts’ have been made to them, covering subjects such as knotting and cooking, and in return the Scouts have been communicating what Badge work and activities they have been completing at home.

On Thursday nights, we hold a ‘Virtual Scouts’ via computer, where our Scouts and their families can join the Scout Leaders for challenges and activities. Last week, we enjoyed a quiz which covered a whole host of topics including Mapwork, Scouting history and even flags of the World (an area I need to brush-up on, I think!)

Over the coming weeks, we will cover different topics together, but the main thing is that Scouting in 1st St. Minver continues to be strong, and we look forward to when we will be able to meet up together.
