The 1st Scout Group is a registered charity and operates a comprehensive, progressive training programme for young people, boys and girls, from the age of six to twenty- five. They are fortunate enough to operate all sections in the 1st St. Minver Scout Group, all supported by volunteer Leaders.

The building is very well used, but the numbers are limited by the size of the building rather than the availability of young people wishing to be part of Scouting at 1st St. Minver Scout Group.

The civil parish of St Minver is nominally divided into St Minver Highlands (to the north and east) and St Minver Lowlands (to the west). The combined parish is bounded on the south and west by the estuary of the River Camel, on the north by the Atlantic coast, and on the east by the parishes of St Endellion and St Kew. The principal villages in St Minver Lowlands are Rock, Trebetherick and Polzeath.

St Minver Lowlands Parish Council represents the local community and is the point of contact for residents of the Parish to raise any concerns it may have.

We maintain strong links to the local Police and Cornwall Council.

Wadebridge and Camel Estuary Practice

Wadebridge and Camel Estuary Practice

wadebridgedoctors.co.uk

There has been a group practice in Wadebridge since the early 1900s. Many of our predecessors had their surgeries operating from their homes. Thanks to the efforts of Drs Keith Bailey and Gordon Kinsman-Barker, the new Wadebridge Health Centre was opened in 1973.

The present partnership consists of Drs Dutson and Robertson and is not a limited partnership. We are a group of vocationally trained family doctors and our primary interest is in providing a high standard of family orientated general medical practice.

We have been in the forefront of many areas of general practice development over the last 27 years, and this has involved such services as physiotherapy, cervical smear screening, care of the elderly and monitoring diabetes. We are involved in general practice education.

Our practice delivers modern, caring, high quality healthcare to ensure that every patient’s journey through the NHS system is as smooth as possible.

Our practice team is highly motivated and qualified to provide a professional service at all times and the information contained on this website, will help you to access the clinics and services available.
