Following the closure of the St Minver Pre-School their building in Trewint Playing Fields has been handed over to the St Minver Community Hub CIO and is now ready for use as a Social and Skills Hub until such time as the new Community Hub building is available to provide for these activities.

The building has a good-sized meeting room and adjoining kitchen and toilet facilities with easy access and adjacent parking. It provides an excellent location for local people to meet for social activities and for professional advisors and trainers to provide skills training and consultations.

To date the following organisations have shown strong interest in supporting these activities:

• Truro and Penwith College & Cornwall College   
• North Cornwall Social Prescribing Team
• People Hub – Cornwall and Isles of Scilly
• Active Plus
• 1st St Minver Scouts Groups
• 1st St Minver Guide Group
• St Minver Football Club

The Open Day on the 18th March, when the above organisations will be represented, will enable you to see the facilities available, the activities being planned and to make your views known on how you would like to see the Social and Skills Hub develop and what services and activities you would be keen to attend.

This facility is now available for local people to use for the social and skills activities as well as local community groups, meetings and events.
